Crabbing! I never went crabbing before, but WZ so semangatly wanted to go crabbing so early Thurs morning we went to a spot under a bridge, on the way to Segari. But before that, WZ semangatly went n tapau nasi lemak (with sambal sotong!) from the uncle who sells it from his van. Yummy! We then drove to the crabbing spot and then had breakfast there (we were starving!) and then it was crabbing time!
Pictures of the bridge: Jambatan Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak’s wife), officiated on the 30th of April 2001.

Graffiti! Quite nice actually:

Crabbing procedure:
1. Prepare trap, with chicken gizzard as bait.
2. Throw trap into water, securing it to land.
3. Take pictures of surroundings (including bridge and graffiti) while waiting.
4. Go to Old Town (near Giant, Seri Manjung) and have a cuppa tea:
5. Go back and inspect bait. Hey we caught one! A very tiny one though :( Anyway let it go after taking pictures as evidence!
After that there were lots of leftover bait (chicken gizzard, cockles and small prawns) and so WZ tried to make a fishing rod using a garbage picker as the stick. It only managed to attract small fish, and they nibbled on the bait and after a while the bait was gone (pics below)! Also saw a few baby swordfish!

After that we headed back, a bit sunburnt because it was pretty hot, and somehow we thot we were sunproof cause we didn’t put sunblock! haha! We were super exhausted! But it was fun :D
