Check out this video, where he sings a 'Protest Song' Hilarious! =D
A whole bunch of other videos that you can watch on YouTube...he's so funny! And he looks much better now than the time he was in 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' (you can watch clips on YouTube). Stephen Fry and him are crazy funny! Although you'll probably enjoy it only if you enjoy British humour =) Anyway I've downloaded got my hands on all 4 seasons of 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' but haven't watched them yet...can't wait to watch em! =)
I have been accused of being the owner of a boring blog. Which can only mean that I'm boring. So how ah? Hmmm....Need to figure out how to make it more interesting...but then again, I don't know who reads my blog cause hardly anyone leaves a comment. So maybe you all can leave a comment so that I know who reads my blog? =)
Hello everyone, it's your resident MPO freak giving you a brief summary on Some Enchanted Evening :)
Programme cover:
Programme list:
My fave songs from the set is: The A-Team theme (the drums really stand out!), Solas Market (song about the market, mainly bananas, and we were taught how to sing along :)) Summertime (a really nice song, which they played the instrumental version which is really nice) Smile and My Way.
My ticket:
The fun part about sitting at the Upper Circle is being able to see everyone as they play. And this time I got to see how the drummer went to the back to play the other percussion instruments, and the keyboardist moved from the grand piano to the harpsichord and to the keyboard! This time the stage was packed and the extras (compared to a normal performance) are the KL Children's Choir (they were very good!), drums, bass guitar, electric guitar, banjo and classical guitar.
4-in-1: Clockwise from top left: View from the Upper Circle, Autograph of Carl Davis & Sir Willard White, Autograph session, writeup of the programme
So I add the theme from The A-Team for your listening pleasure. It's nothing like the live version, but still awesome ;)
We made a round trip to KL and back (the original plan of staying overnight was cancelled), and left Ipoh at 3.30pm and left for Ipoh after the autograph session...reached home at 1.15am! We were tired but it was worth it! Oh and I also met a bunch of ppl from uni...turns out 42 of them booked tickets under one of our lecturers! I hope they enjoyed it because I surely did! =)
Been eating alot of this egg tart since I came back! Delicious!!! =D It cost RM1.30 apiece, and if you go to the shop at the right timing, you can buy em on the spot (after a queue!), if not you hafta wait for the next batch to be done!
It's been a month since I came back and already I managed to cause some damage.
1) Hit the front grille of the house with my car when I wanted to move the car a bit forward - ended up kissing and damaging the grille =_=" 2) Reversed into a neighbour's car with the Wira. New Persona! Dented the right hand side back door just a little, but the repair cost RM380!!
Sigh.
I think I'm quite a decent driver, but I think it only applies to high speed driving. And my parking kinda sucks...because my distance estimation is not that good...I need more practice! And it can be quite confusing because there's 3 cars at home, all different shapes n sizes (all auto tho, so phew! =P) and you have to remember what's where, and remember the steering+brake+what else? sensitivity. And now that im relaxed at home, my brain is getting slower...i think....hmmm...or was it a case of temporary absent-mindedness?
Anyway, am super careful when driving these days...hopefully no more accidents! :S
We had dinner yesterday night at this new place near Bercham where its a all-you-can-eat steamboat + BBQ thingy. It was also my dad's birthday! But anyway it wasn't really to celebrate or anything, but my mom really semangat wanna try out this place since quite some time so we went =D. They really had a large variety n besides the usual fishball/meatball/meat/marinated meat/vege there was also ice-cream, mango pudding, fruits, egg sandwiches, fruitcake and free flow of lots of drinks! Totally awesome! =D
Cost: RM22 per adult, can't remember how much for kids...
Steamboat + BBQ plate:
This is only the first round! =P
Was so full after that, I could hardly move! hahaha!
If you're a big eater, it's totally worth it! =D Oh and call me if you wanna go there =P
