5 a.m.

It's 5 am and I'm blogging. Sad, no? Maybe not, because i'm only blogging because I can't sleep! I feel feverish and my nose is leaking a little! It all started on Sunday night. I guess I overworked myself a little when I painted the back of our house in the middle of the day under the super hot sun!! Hahaha...it was after church so I thot before I become super lazy and not paint the wall today (one week at home and the last day oni wanna do all dis :P), I might as well get it over and done now! At first the weather was fine, and then suddenly the scorching sun came out and decided it was time to burn phoebe alive! :S I just continued painting cause honestly the area was kinda small, but I had to do 2 coats, so it took a while. And then the rest of the day was so freaking hot that I had to turn on the air-cond so that I wouldn't sweat like a pig (wahahahhaha) By nighttime I had a mild sorethroat. So I could barely sleep, and we were leaving for uni in the morn!! I was fine in the morning, but then after the journey back and all the unloading and the class-going and makaning I was so tired! So on Monday night I took 2 biji panadol and Ko-ed early. Lucky had panadol man! If not yesterday would probably be like today where I can't sleep! :s Today not only Im feeling hot, my nose is running. And I think the lymph node that swells up when ur sick IS swollen. Aiyoyoyoyo...no good no good. Lucky no tests this week...

Today our beloved fluids lecturer put up a class notice telling us that there's no fluids class. Im hoping its not because he's lazy but because he had somewhere to go to. We're so gonna die for fluids...he taught us one chapter in like 30 mins, then no mo class till now and we don't have any examples for this chapter! And then got assignment to pass up on Friday!! Aiyoyoyoyooyoyoo

On a happier note, it's Cheeseman's birthday! (Wednesday) On Tuesday it was Josh Groban's birthday!! Since I can't really celebrate Josh's birthday (:P) we celebrated Cheeseman's birthday! We were chatting with him, and then suddenly we said brb, and then we were at his doorstep! Wahahahhaha! Surprise surprise! :P So there were 6 of us(including bday dude), and we sang what I think was the slowest version ever of Happy Birthday, and then it was makan time! Ok ok so we only had American Chocolate Cake and Kickapoo Joy Juice (which made us all high later on), and mostly laughter n crapping. Wahahahaha. Might post up pics if I find a decent one :S Then after the partay was over and we were heading back to the apt, these 2 mangkuks I call housemates decided to go round uni. Because since it was after 12am we had to write our names d so might as well lepak samo it seems. Sweat sweat. So around uni we went, with nina driving in the middle of the road and sarah high on joy juice. wahahaha. What a scene!

Ok now im feeling super hot again and im gonna try to get some sleep...not sure if i'll be alive to go for 8am tutorial....:S

Happy Birthday again Cheeseman! Hope you enjoyed the mini party! :P

Valentine's Day Trivia

Did you know that...

Teachers will receive the most Valentine's Day cards, followed by children, mothers, wives, and then, sweethearts.

15% of U.S. women send themselves flowers on Valentine's Day.

More than 50% of cards are sold the week of the holiday, with the largest and most elaborate Valentine cards sold 48 hours before February 14.

About 3% of pet owners will give Valentine's Day gifts to their pets.

Cupid, another symbol of Valentines Day, became associated with it because he was the son of Venus, the Roman god of love and beauty. Cupid often appears on Valentine cards holding a bow and arrows because he is believed to use magical arrows to inspire feelings of love.

Hallmark has over 1330 different cards specifically for Valentine's Day.

In the United States, 64% of men do not make plans in advance for a romantic Valentine's Day with their sweethearts.

70% of those celebrating the holiday give a card, followed by a telephone call (49%), gift (48%), special dinner (37%), candy (33%) restaurant meal (30%), and flowers (19%).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hahaha..cool stats eh! Anyway I'm spending my night watching movies! Yeahh!! Too lazy to go out...hahaha...Happy V-day!

p.s. I realised that somehow lecturers and teachers like to call me 'pb'!(Okay maybe just one lecturer and one teacher! But still!!) I wonder why!! :P I never mentioned that people call me pb (okay there's like 2 ppl and one of em calls me that to irritate me :P). The rest create their own nicknames for me. Ahahahaha!

Oh man!!

Just came back from CG, and my body is aching everywhere! hahahaha! Been laughing all evening, since dinner to CG! We had fun, basically the whole idea of the CG was to exchange presents, and David our CG leader asked us to share on what we think of Valentine's Day before we get our presents! It was ok I guess, we were laughing most of the time and playing with the candles that Agnes brought, which means were didn't really pay attention when anyone was talking. Maybe its because Shewing Gum was being a dumbass (forgive my language!) by doin all kinds of nonsense! hahahaha! David gave some deep sharing that is really interesting, but I won't say anything here cause this blog is not for deep stuff (you might be going "really now??" ahahahah) Anyway the fun part was opening the presents (supposed to be below RM5) and also taking pictures. Oh oh and Jason performed a song. He din intro the title also (=_=") but it was a nice song. And then he kept playing songs so we had background music and hysterical laughter at the pondok in front of ILMU beside the lake! =P Since I so semangat today I'm gonna post some pics :P (because my latest reader asked me to blog about the CG :P)

All in the CG!! Yeahh!!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! And remember, this day is for everyone to celebrate, and not just for couples to go mushy and stuff!! :P I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, just that my friends here go crazy everytime and then they get desperate n stuff. Ahahaahhaha. OKla okla nola nola :P After all, isn't it better to show your love everyday instead of just one day in a year?

This week has been the usual too lazy to study and do anything useful, but I also got to listen to ppl's V-day plans and give ideas (wah! ppl actually ask me??!!) Ahahahaha...very sad i know but I'm actually amazed people actually wanna tell me about stuff like this...and ppl actually emo to me about stuff...hahahaha...I look like a emo absorber issit? ahahahaha! I dun mind listening lar, its quite an honor, I'm actually quite surprised I that have alot of patience :P

It's been a long interesting day, and my lecturer decided to cancel the 11am class, and we wanted to cancel tomoro's 8am tutorial, and so my class only starts at 2pm! And it's MOM! ahahaha...Ramesh Ramesh Ramesh! Test kantoi masih nak bising :P Anyway happy V-day! Have a great day! I need my sleeep!

p.s. Quite a few people asked me what Im doin for V-day. Like...the same people asking me a few times...ahahaha. I got no plans. Actually got la. Sit in the apartment watch movies! :P It's free! hihihihihi

Starting today...

Artist: Natalie Imbruglia
Album: Counting Down The Days
Year: 2005
Title: Starting Today

Starting today I'm not going to waste another moment
Even if I had the chance before I would have blown it
But you took me by surprise
And you caught just in time
Everyday you give me reason not to walk away
I stop believing the world's gone crazy
And if it is you'll save me
Starting today I'm not going to worry about tomorrow
I'll wash away all this fear that's left me feeling hollow
Because you make me want to try
And you caught me just in time
Everyday you give me reason not to walk away
I'll stop believing I should burn like crazy
Cos if I did you chase me

Anyway, I should have told you
So many times
That I shyed away
Somehow you always seem to
Be there, making it easy
And you give me reason to stay

Everyday, Everyday, Everyday
Oh everyday I'll stop believing that I should burn like crazy
Cos if I did you chase me

Every day you give me reason not to walk away

Starting today I'm not gonna waste another moment...

I'm not gonna waste another moment worrying about tomorrow!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seems like I've been posting alot of lyrics eh...ahahah...cause I'm too lazy to type so much like the other time. Even though I have alot to say. Cause its a public blog. Must be politically correct. Hahahahaha. Anyway I posted the lyrics to that song cause its a really nice song by Natalie Imbruglia. I can't seem to find the chords for this song, so hopefully can get the chords someday. Ahahaha. I could find them myself but I got no guitar now :P

Got test tomoro tapi sempat blog dan merepek. Aih. So lazy!! Wanna go back and celebrate CNY and eat like a pig because its the year of the Pig!!

Sympathique

Ma chambre a la forme d'une cage
Le soleil passe son bras par la fenêtre
Les chasseurs à ma porte
Comme les p'tits soldats
Qui veulent me prendre

Me rend malade

Je ne veux pas travailler
Je ne veux pas déjeuner
Je veux seulement l'oublier
Et puis je fume

Je ne suis pas fière de ça
Vie qui veut me tuer
C'est magnifique être sympathique
Mais je ne le connais jamais

Je ne veux pas travailler
Non
Je ne veux pas déjeuner
Je veux seulement l'oublier
Et puis je fume

Je ne suis pas fière de ça
Vie qui veut me tuer
C'est magnifique être sympathique
Mais je ne le connais jamais

Je ne veux pas travailler
Non
Je ne veux pas déjeuner
Je veux seulement l'oublier
Et puis je fume

T.G.I.F?

I'm so tired. Today was one busy day. Okla...not that busy..but it was filled with activities! The day started with me goin for my 8am class (Cheow came for class! ahahaha), and then havin breakfast with Sarah (we planned to eat nasi lemak since last night :P), and then studied abit (had MOM test at 3pm) while waiting for the next class. And then guess what?

THE LECTURER DIDN'T COME! HE FREAKING DIDN'T COME! AGAIN!

Bloody hell man! He didn't come on Wednesday also! Dowanna come for class leave notice or something mah!! We already know he's lazy...BUT DON'T BE THAT BLOODY LAZY MAH!

Anyway after half an hour of waiting (which was actually time well spent reviewing for the test) I decided to go back to the apartment. Was hungry but there wasn't anything nice to eat in the apartment. Only some cookies. Ahahahah...sad sad..and then went for my test (MOM is fun!). The lecturer's (Dr. Ramesh :O) watch is set like 10 mins faster than the usual and so we had to follow his time. =_=". No wonder he's always super early for class. Sometimes starting before my watch strikes 2pm! Damn semangat! hahahaha...but his teaching is good...and he's kinda funny too...ahahah...his class is really fun. Just that recently my brain seems to be lagging somehow and I probably absorb only 60% of what is taught? Oh NO!! The test was okay I guess..questions were easy but I wasn't sure about question 1 (why student's fail to answer? because they get stuck at statics! - Dr. Ramesh)Damn. It's not like I totally screwed statics, but I'm just not that sure on the topic. Hahaha. But so far MOM is okay. I love being a part of the ME department! We're so cool!! =P

After the test went for makan at COE food court. Did I mention that I was shivering a little during the test? Yaloh..hungry samo that classroom so cold wan everytime! And then I was wearing my most newest T-shirt (that would be 2 months + old!!) that says "If eating was a sport I would be undefEATed". So HOW ON EARTH COULD I BE HUNGRY??!! :( The funny part is, everytime people see me wearing the T-shirt they wanna read the words. No matter how many times they've read it before. I wonder if the t-shirt was see thru would anyone even see the words at all?? =P OKok before this post becomes gross I shall change the topic!

So after makaning we were supposed to go watch Gary play football (his team is called Sao Paolo), but it started raining super heavily suddenly, and we thought the game might be cancelled, but luckily it was not, and off we went to the field at ILSAS! At first there were not many people, but after a while people started coming! The game was good, it was fast-paced, and Sao Paolo had really good goal opportunities, but somehow they all missed! :( But they never gave up! The highlight of the game would be when there was a player change on the opposing team and then this idiot player showed the finger at us! BLOODY HELL WHO TAUGHT YOU TO DO THAT!! Gah! We booed him! Luckily the linesman (our side of the field) saw that and told the referee and BAM! The referee gave him a YELLOW CARD!! Padan muka hang, I daresay! Hahahaha..anyway Gary's team lost 1-0 with additional time. Stupid opposing team had so many injuries. A whole load of dung, I say! "Wanna act go to Hollywood la! That's if they want you lah!" (quoting one of sao Paolo's supporters :P) Hahahaha...desperados!

After the match, I walked over to kacauvisit Wei Zhan at her kedai at ILMU Fest. Ahahahhaha...tak disangka rakan kita telah menjadi AJK Blok! Boleh tahan! hahaaha. Anyway this fella and her fellow members sold fried stuff. I bought RM2 worth of stuff. Now I have RM5 left in my wallet. sad sad. Then I walked back to Murni. My legs were so tired from all the walking done the whole day! Lemme see.. from 8am:

Murni-Admin-BM-Murni-BM-COE; ILSAS-ILMU-Murni

Wahlaueh! Cross uni trekking! hahahaha..

On another note,

This year is gonna be themed as "Go for as many MPO events as possible!" =P It's really exciting when I go with a bunch of people who also like classical music (although I wonder if they space out halfway or fall asleep or stuff like that :P) The fun part is always the photography session, but what I love the most is watching a live orchestra. To see how they can all work together to produce the wonderful music that was written years ago! And to see all the violinists and violaists play in unision, when they all have their bows up and down at the same time...such...uniformity...such...preciseness...and then there's the conductors and the featured musicians. The only way to truly enjoy the performances is by knowing the background of the composers, the program and the story behind the music, the musicians and maybe heard the music before! It's like doing research. But it's fun research! Because when you know why a song was written, you can understand it better. Maybe you think i'm psycho or extreme or pathetic, but being prepared always works! Which is why I've been downloading a whole bunch of classical music (thru tunelling in uni :P)! But listening to classical music while studying is also good. It really helps! After that elaborate explanation, here I am recruiting more kaki to join me for another performance on the 3rd of March, and also on the 17th of March. Details can be found on the MPO website. I am SO ADDICTED TO MPO!! Many thanks to Dr. Chua who's a fan of MPO also and its because of him that we get tix for such a low price!! If only I knew much earlier about this! Nobody ajak me go MPO before...:( I always wanted to go for a performance...like...years ago when they started out! Almost went last year around my birthday but somehow tak jadi because not many kaki and also not quite sure about MPO...regret not going, but at least by starting out this year I believe this year will be a good year!! I'm telling you..you never waste a cent going for events like these! But only for those who love classical music like I do! I mean...no point going if you don't like classical music and then waste your time and money by sleeping there rite?? It happened before!(so a friend told me) Wasted only!! Tsk tsk...

It's the weekend again, I'm all alone as usual, and I have a test on Tuesday. Lecturer said it's open book, but still have to review rite...hahaha...hope I won't die of boredom before that!

I miss my piano
I miss home
I wanna go home

Time to sleep?
Maybe I should dream of Mr. Gerard!
Ahahahahahah nolah nolah just joking.
Just miss his hug, that's all
Damn im not BECOMING soft, I'm ALREADY soft.
But I have a feeling that I've become numb too.

Tired!
(from the day's activities and also typing this loooooong post!)

Pink Martini...

Got this from Cheow's friend's website!

All that jazz!!

I wish I knew a place that we can go to tango or rhumba or cha cha or waltz or salsa!!

Time flies...

It was just Saturday that we went for MPO. In a blink of an eye it's already Wednesday night.

It felt like yesterday that I was happily enjoying music at MPO
It felt like yesterday that I was taking loads of pictures after MPO
It felt like yesterday that I had my dynamics paper
It felt like yesterday that I felt smart
It felt like yesterday that I ate pizza

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually I did eat pizza yesterday! It was our CG activity...kinda sad tho but as long as we had food it was okay!

Can't stop looping Sarah McLachlan's Adia on my iTunes. Ahahaha...lovely song...makes me miss my piano at home even more :'(

Just finished watching Gol & Gincu. No its not because I like the tv series that I must watch the movie but I was running outta space on my PC and instead of deleting it just like that might as well watch right! Since im bored anyway...ahahaha...so lazy to study..speaking about that, whenever I feel lazy to study and don't want to feel like a waste, I start to clean!Or iron my clothes! :P Hahahaha...cleaning's good! Everytime I clean my room I move stuff around so that it won't look so boring! =)

I have my MOM paper on Friday but here I am, blogging away and editing HTML for my webserver in uni. Yes! Im finally starting one! ahahaha...not that great tho, but good enough...so far only one person leeching downloading from me..too scared to promote to ppl...nanti PC kong...hahaha :P

Ok...I have decided that I shall not study anymore today! Nighttime should be for hanging out! So I'm gonna be studying during all the breaks I have tomoro..:S

I wanna go home...

Adia

Adia - Sarah McLachlan

Adia I do believe I failed you
Adia I know I let you down
Don’t you know I tried so hard
To love you in my way
It’s easy let it go...
Adia I’m empty since you left me
Trying to find a way to carry on
I search myself and everyone
To see where we went wrong
’cause there’s no one left to finger
There’s no one here to blame
There’s no one left to talk to, honey
And there ain’t no one to buy our innocence
’cause we are born innocent
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter
Does it matter?
Adia I thought that we could make it
But I know I can’t change the way you feel
I leave you with your misery
A friend who won’t betray
I pull you from your tower
I take away your pain
And show you all the beauty you possess
If you’d only let yourself believe that
We are born innocent
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter, does it matter?
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
’cause we are born innocent
Adia we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter ... but does it matter?

MPO yet again!

So this time I was the organizer and I was looking for another 9 people to join me for last night's performance, and it ended up we had a total of 13 people! It was fun! The performances were awesome as usual, but I guess for the starting performance was abit...boring...wahahah...seriously...but it was nice, kinda forestry sounds all (Song of the Nightingale - Le chant du rossigol)by Igor Stravinsky, then there was the Scyhian Suite by Sergei Prokofiev. The second part titled Tshuchbog and Dance of the Monsters was very loud! So i guess that's how monsters sound when they dance! =P And then after the interval we had Gérard Caussé playing the Viola Concerto. He was enjoying himself, which is really important! And he was wearing some different looking shoes which looks like it fits your feet or something...ahahaha..but he was so damn cool!!

This was the program:

Sat 3 Feb 07, 8.30pm

ODYSSEY
Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra
Kees Bakels conductor
Gérard Caussé viola

STRAVINSKY Le chant du rossignol
PROKOFIEV Scythian Suite (Op.20)
BARTÓK Viola Concerto
SCRIABIN Poem of Ecstasy (Op.54)

Endings and beginnings. Making a welcome return, Gérard Caussé brings us the Viola Concerto which Bartók was working on at the time of his death, while Kees Bakels steers the MPO through the exotic soundworld of Scriabin’s penultimate orchestral score. From the other end of composers’ careers, Stravinsky started his “Song of the Nightingale” two years before he rocketed to international fame, while the Scythian Suite was Prokofiev’s youthful attempt to shock the Russian musical establishment.

Pre-Concert Events: Sat 7.30pm, Sun 2.00pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I missed the pre-concert event because we didn't plan to go for it, but I did almost go tho...ahahaha..ah well, there's always next time...so anyway after the performance we did some alot of camwhoring took alot of pictures, and then after a while I saw the viola dude walk past and then I was like "should I ask him? should I???" He was talking to somebody when I went to him (I ran across the..uh...place :P) And then I went to him and said:

Me: Excuse me sir, you're the viola...guy right!
Viola dude (smiling cutely): Yes (or wassit yeah? I dunno!!)
Me: Can I take a picture with you?
Viola dude (still smiling cutely): Of course! (Or wassit yes, sure, no problem I can't remember arrghh!!)
Me (smiling like a dumbass): Yay! (okok so maybe I said that to myself)

And then he took off his trench coat (he is afterall, French!) and then another group of old dudes wanted to talk to him then I just waited and then he said to them "Excuse me while I take a picture with this young lady here." YOUNG LADY HE SAID YOUNG LADY!!! ahahahah...now I sound like a deranged fan :P Anyway we took a picture, and he squeezed me the whole time we took the pic (which I don't think was that long anyway) but it was so exciting!! He's so niceeee!! And then after I took with him another girl wanted to take a pic with him and then Sarah took a pic with him..So sorry Sarah your pic was blur, it looked ok on the LCD screen after I took the pic!! My hands are getting more unsteady, or it could be that I was hungry and so my hands shook....hahaha

Anyway it was really fun, going with this bunch of people, and also because I was the organizer! :P So here are some pics, and as always my fave pic is of me and the viola dude!

Dirty Little Secret

"Dirty Little Secret"

If I had the chance, love
I would not hesitate
To tell you all the things I never said before
Don't tell me it's too late

[Chorus:]
Cause I've relied on my illusions
To keep me warm at night
But I denied in my capacity to love
I am willing, to give up this fight

I've been up all night drinking
To drown my sorrow down
Nothing seems to help me since you went away
I'm so tired of this town
Where every tongue is wagging
When every back is turned
Their telling secrets that should never be revealed
There's nothing to be gained from this
But disaster..
Here's a good one..
Did you hear about my friend
He's embarrassed to be seen now
because we all know his sins

If I had the chance love
You know, I would not hesitate
To tell you all the things I never said before
Don't tell me it's too late

[Chorus:]
Cause I've relied on my illusions
To keep me warm at night
But I denied in my capacity to love
I am willing, to give up this fight
Oh, I am willing to give up this fight..
