Kiasu....

Today I continued becoming a lazy bum..slept at 3am because i was copying files through the intranet...ahahaha..then woke up at 10.30 am when I planned to wake up at 8 am....they shouldn't have put the snooze function in handphones!! You just feel tempted to snooze forever...until its too late..and then you have to rush whatever you are doing...not very good...ekekkekke

Anyway here's what happened today...makes me dislike KL life even more...even though KL is considered canggih unfortunately the people are not...

We called a taxi to go to KTM and did not expect another guy to join us (same uni) in the same TAXI (cekik darah punya harga man!!) but then he was heading to the nearest LRT station.....so okay no prob, made our fare cheaper..hehe..so off we went and just after buying the tickets we had to chase the train because it had just arrived! So this is where all my netball and badminton training came in handy...hahahaha...so we ran up and down the stairs and made it just in time...hehe....terror leh....and we had to stand, as usual but that was not a problem....the only problem is that the KTM Commuter seems to move very slowly.....it can't be that old....right? Well after a very long journey we reached KL Central Station and then changed to Putra LRT to go to Pasar Seni...and that's where I decided Kl ppl are kiasu....these ppl block the doors even before the LRT can stop....and then as you know the doors open and close very fast, so everybody's rushing. But the question is, can't you let the passengers disembark first before entering?? Wouldn't it be much easier that way?? Well, we had to wait for another LRT to come because we couldn't squeeze into the first LRT. We almost didn't get into the second one also but this time we squeezed ourselves. But the problem did not end there. We were supposed to get down one station later, but these people were rushing to get in and we had to kinda scream "EXCUSE ME!!" so we could get out! In the end my friend managed to get out as the beeping sound went on and i was left in the LRT. After my friend's narrow escape from the LRT some old aunties were shocked because te doors almost trapped her. I heard one aunty say "Ya Allah! Sempat lagi dia!" and then everybody was looking at me. Me!! Arrrghhhh!! Oh well, had to get down at the next station and come back again...so ma fan....but what to do......people so kiasu...

So after we SAFELY reached Pasar Seni, we headed to the central market....not bad also, they had many things...especially handicraft and clothes.....so I bought some stuff....to decorate my apartment...hehehe....well not so bad after all....then we ate at this restaurant that's supposed to be famous (leave that for my friend to know....she's a food lover) where we piled on the food and could barely move after that (we geniuses couldn't resist the ice cream at Famous Amos which we ate before lunch...go figure).......after all that we headed back, backtracking the way we went...so after reaching KL Central Station we explored the place first before getting on the KTM....we rushed to get in the KTM but then we shouldn't have worried because the train was delayed a bit to let another train pass or something like that...it seems that they were repairing the tracks or something like that so it took us a longer time to get back....after we got down from the KTM guess who we saw in a taxi heading back! The same guy that followed us in the same taxi earlier....so ngam one.....hahahaha.....we managed to reach our apartment safely at 4pm as scheduled (albeit the taxi drivers always thinking they joined F1 or something). Then we got ready to go for church...

At church guess who I met! An old friend from Parit Buntar! Haven't seen her for a veeerrrryyyy looooooooooong time, and I recognized her face but don't remember much about her.....and then she said i've grown so much....it seems the last time she saw me I was still a little kid....hmmmmm....technically she's my sis's age so its not my fault that i don't remember....hahahaha.....everybody knows me but i don't remember much about them......must go spread the news to my family...heheh *phew* the amount of old friends and people from the same "kampung" as me that I discovered is shocking! It seems like the whole town is here! Anyway after coming back I started to type this story out and its taking me forever to finish!! As if it's a very important story....hahahaha..

I am sooo tired now (whole body aching) but as usual, I have to watch something before I go to bed.....so....till next time, have a great day!

I think I have a lot of movies and dramas and animes to last me the holidays!! While I copied these files I studied, of course..........ASS........Academic Study Skills lah!! What were you thinking?? hahahahaha!! What an interesting subject...at least with this subject you can use common sense to answer questions. And good thing its multiple-choice or i won't be writing in this blog....hahaha..

Anyway it has been decided. We are going to KL Central Market tomorrow!! To escape from this place when there's no electricity, of course.....=) So I guess I'll be out the whole day then...*phew* gonna shop till I drop!! Quiet day...

Well, not much happened today, other than me discovering the kindness of other people over the intranet! So many movies and anime to choose from!! Need more hard disk space to save em all!!! Studied a bit of ASS and Chemistry....don't know why but I'm not so stressed anymore... which is good! The only interesting conversation I had today went like this:

Dude: Let's go Central Market this Sunday!
Me: Aiyaa....malas laaa...
Dude: What! Don malas malas laa....it's not a normal market u know!
Me: Yeah I know....but I lazyla wanna get out of here....
Dude: This sunday no electricity woh! What are you going to do??
Me: *Sigh* I dunno....but I lazy la....go and ask other people to go with you lar...
Dude: Others all wanna study....
Me: Then you?
Dude: Err......
Me: Hahaha...okla see first yah...no mood la now...
Dude: Ok ok..

Well, it went something like this la....if any additions or subtractions sorry lah dude...haha.. And did I mention no electricity?? For 7 hours!! Why can't they do repairs after we balik kampung?? *sigh* Kacau daun only....dahla on Sundays internet 24 hours....gone lah my 25 cents....hahaha

Well anyway later we went out for dinner at the same place....the place where students with no cars and no friends with cars go to eat....when I go there I have no idea what to eat....I'll end up ordering the same food I usually eat and from the same shop...saves my brain cells from some thinking. Which is good. Hahaha...SO not funny...Well, I better continue studying first before I start my anime marathon tonight :D Woohhooo! The only fun thing I do these days seem to be related to my PC....I need to socialize more.....Help!

Movies.....

I love to watch movies. Nothing is better than sitting in a cinema or staring at a screen with moving pictures....most of the time I watch action movies and get my adrenaline pumping....and when I watch romantic movies, I suddenly wish I have a romantic life....but I have none of those.. I need more action and adventure in my life....so watch out world! I might be doing something crazy soon!! Woohoo!!

Anyway the other day I went out with my friend and went lepaking....we ended up watching a movie and buying loads of food! (Be prepared! haha) We were gonna watch Catwoman and settled into our seats and waited for the movie to start...then suddenly..they started showing King Arthur!!! Everybody was looking up at the projector room and wondering what was going on....then the guys up there must have noticed because they stopped the screening and we were faced with a blank screen.....then they started showing advertisements again for another 10 mins or so....then finally Catwoman started!!! The movie wasn't that bad....I'm planning to get a haircut like Halle berry after she cut it short for her catwoman image...hehe...whaddaya think? =) Anyway after the movie we got our stuff and headed back....and that's how I spent a Saturday and about a hundred bucks......sigh.....

Women wearing ties...hmm...

I was wondering what people would think of women wearing ties. I came across an article on the net which is very informative.

By Noriko Wada January

So men are no longer wearing ties. Even in Asia where men have traditionally been more formal, I notice that several companies have relaxed their dress codes. Particularly on Friday, I see that a lot of men no longer dress formal. I hear that they think they look stiff. I have always had problem with men, particularly Asian men, associating ties with stiffness. In fact I think otherwise. A tie actually adds color and charm to their otherwise dull clothes. When they switch to drab white shirts and black slacks there is nothing to remember about them. I have been to so many after-work happy hours and dinners and the next day when I want to talk about someone whose name I did not know I can no longer say "the guy with the red tie with yellow stripes". But I do not cry for men. In fact, I decided to embrace ties abandoned by men. We women have always been big fans of accessories and now that men have abandoned one of their most attractive accessories, we will just use it ourselves. The reaction so far has been very positive from women and men. More importantly I like it when a tie on me attracts immediate attention. So it was not difficult to convince several girlfriends of mine to put a tie on whenever they wanted to cause a little stir. I hear that Avril Lavigne has been been causing similar waves among fashion critics by wearing a tie. There are several techniques for a woman to wear a tie without necessarily looking like a man. In fact I believe that a tie suits a woman's style more than it does with a man's. The idea outfit for me when I choose to wear a tie is a black tie wit a skin-tight, well-tailored button-down shirt. So as not to wear like men do, you can leave it a bit loose, one or two buttons undone, and show some skin, particularly if you have small breasts. You might want to match it with well tailored pants or mini-skirt. Boots or stiletto-heeled shoes will complete the sexy look. If you are headed for a power-meeting with one of those groups of boring and dull investment bankers or lawyers, increase your power-factor by dressing like them. Just close all your buttons like men do and walk into any conference room with confidence. Notice the intimidated faces of all these powerful men. You can always wear it with a tank top for a very casual style.Of course, let me prepare you for the reaction from men. Think skirts versus pant-suits. Men still do not react favorably to women in pant-suits, particularly in some parts of the world. A tie will only insult these men even more. So if you think you are in a position of less power (e.g. a job interview or a sales person), think again. But if you are in a peer-level environment and can actually gain a few points by showing your 'girl power', go for it. If you just want to look sexy, then no complicated analysis needed - when you put on a tie, men will sweep on you.

So what do you think? Personally, I like wearing ties but I also like wearing skirts (not LIKE LIKE but it's nice to wear....) I asked a friend what he thought and he said a woman would look sophisticated if she wore a tie...but so far I haven't wore one....publicly..maybe one day...=) Go Avril! Please wear ties again!! We're not freaks just bcoz we wear ties after you did!!
